Respected Swamiji, Shri Ramsukhdasji Maharaj has been a great soul of this era. He has spent his entire life in the study and understanding of the Gita. The Gita is an inherent part of him, he was ‘Gita Personified’. The commentary which he has written on the Gita called ‘Sadhak Sanjeevani’ which is first of its kind and incomparable.

Firdaus, the famous Iranian poet has written about a historic event in his famous book ‘Shahnama’. In the 6th century there lived in Iranian King by the name of Naushesva, his prime ministers name is ‘Barajoyi’. One day Barajoyi told the king that he has learnt about an astonishing herb found in the Himalayas of India called as ‘Sanjeevani’ which can infuse life in the dead body. My King, if you give me permission I will go there myself and get the herb to our country. The king instantly gave orders and made all the necessary arrangements for his journey. He, also wrote a letter to one of his friends, a king in India, to give the necessary help to Barajoyi. On reaching India, Barajoyi was given all the necessary goods and few people to accompany, him for his Himalayan task, by the Indian King. In the Himalayas, Barajoyi searched for the Sanjeevani herb for several days, but could not find it. He was disheartened and was returning home. He was worried about what answer he would give the King upon return. He asked his Indian friends for a solution to his dilemma. A friend told him that an old learned saint lived in his town. They could visit him, and may be the old saint could offer a solution. Both went to the saint’s hut and shared the reason for his trip to India and his present problem. The saint very lovingly explained to Barajoyi that he had misunderstood the Sanjeevani. In reality, the self realized souls are the Himalayas and the knowledge obtained from them is the ‘Sanjeevani’ which infuses life and awareness into an ignorant man, who is as good as dead. If you really want to get the herb, you must acquire that knowledge. The reason for the narration of the above instance is that, in the present era, Swamiji Maharaj has given the ‘Sadhak Sanjivani’ as a form of Sanjeevani herb which will give a new base of life to the ignorant people for eons. For all who want the supreme happiness, no matter which caste, creed, country one belongs to, this book is like Sanjeevani herb. In this book the follower of all religions – Hindu, Muslim, Christian, Buddhist, Jain etc. will find an easy way to salvation in accordance to their own religion. Only the person who has read the book can understand what the book is about. Swamiji Maharaj used to say that aspirant should first observe his own thoughts, then read the ‘Sadhak Sanjeevani’ and then witness his thoughts. There will definitely be a difference. There was a lot of animosity between two families, one read the ‘Sadhak Sanjeevani’ and his outlook had changed. He invited the members of the other group of his family for a meal. In this manner the hostility ended. This proves that there is a change in the person’s persona after reading the ‘Sadhak Sanjeevani’, he became pure. While writing the ‘Sadhak Sanjeevani’ Sri Swamiji used to say that it should be written in such a manner that the reader gets enlightened. He has also written in the preface that he is writing this commentary keeping in mind how the aspirant can attain salvation quickly and easily . This shows that the ‘Sadhak Sanjeevani’ is filled with Sri Swamiji’s blessings. Swamiji Maharaj says that like during Sri Goswami Tulasidasji’s time the Ramayan was not popular but now it is read in every household, similarly the ‘Sadhak Sanjeevani’ will become popular in ‘400-450′ years. ‘Sadhak Sanjeevani’ is an actual form of Sri Swamiji. Once aftera discourse in Mumbai, he was leaving and a lady came up to him and cried that he was leaving and going away. Sri Swamiji asked her ‘whether she has Sadhak Sanjeevani?’ she said ‘Yes’, then Sri Swamiji said if you have Sadhak Sanjeevani with you, then I am with you. This shows that Sri Swamiji shall be in our minds in the form of ‘Sadhak Sanjeevani’. Therefore we request all the brothers and sisters to definitely keep a copy of the ‘Sadhak Sanjeevani’ in their home and read it daily.
