In spite of the Presence of God, You are Still Unhappy ?

God has infinite and eternal qualities.  All elaborations on God in the holy books and from great saints put together are  incomplete.
God’s eternal devotee Goswamiji Maharaj too says –
“Ramu ne sakahi naam gun gaayi”
(Manasa. Bala. 26:4).
It has also come in the messages of the saints that God Himself does not realize His own power !  God, with infinite qualities minimally has three main qualities –

  • He is Omniscient (Sarva Jyataa)
  • He is “Almighty” with unlimited capability (Sarva samarth)
  • He is Eternally Compassionate and Merciful (Sarva Suhrda)

The point is that no one else is as Almighty, as Omniscient and as Compassionate as God. In spite of the presence God you are still unhappy (experiencing sorrow), you are still not attaining liberation, then do you believe a Guru can free you from bondage ? Is the Guru even more powerful, Omniscient, and compassionate than God ?

Such misconceptions will lead to nothing but deception ! Until that deep longing, that intensity, that quest for salvation is not awakened within you, till then even God Himself cannot liberate you, then how will a Guru be able to do so ?

The exceptional, distinguishing qualities that you see in a Guru, in Saints and Great Souls, these too are not all their own, but they have come from God, and you have believed them to be their qualities. Just like when someone makes a sweet dish, the sweetness in the dessert comes from the sugar, similarly, wherever you see something exceptional, it all belongs to only God. God says in the Gita –

“Yadyadvibhootimatsatvam Shrimadoorjitameva vaa
tatdevaavagasch tvam mam tejoshasambhavam.”

(Gita 10:41)

“Every thing that is glorious, brilliant or powerful, know that to be a manifestation of a spark of My splendor.”

(Gita 10:41)
