Question –   After offering everything to the Lord,  can forbidden actions take place, due to the influence of past tendencies?

Answer –  No it cannot take place.   || 2 ||

Question –   Can pride arise mistakenly thinking that I have offered everything to the Lord ?

Answer –   No! It cannot happen.   If there is pride, then in fact, genuine ‘samarpan’ (surrender) has not taken place.   Mistakenly things were regarded as one’s own. When that mistake is wiped out, then where is the question of pride ?

Question –  On surrendering everything, the sins too will be offered to the Lord,  along with virtues, just as when a house is sold, then those that reside in it (like snakes, scorpions) also go with it?

Answer –   Whatever is put into the fire,  it burns up and becomes a blazing fire.   Therefore it has come in the Gita – ‘Shubhasbhubhaphalairevam mokshyase karmabandhanaih’ (Gita 9/28)   ‘By offering in this manner,  you will become freed from the bondage of action, both good (prescribed) and bad (prohibited).  ‘Aham tva sarvapaapebhyo mokshayishyaami’  (Gita 18/66)  ‘I will liberate you from all sins.’   || 4 ||
