Becoming Determinate – 2

Question:  How can we become determinate and firm about the real purpose (intent, objective) ?

Swamiji:   

The laws of today cause more hardship to those who have significant income.  However, it is not so for those people on nominal income.  Earn your bread and eat it.  All you have to do is sustain!  No one has the power to force you to commit sins!  You yourself are accepting and committing sin.  You yourself are destroying your thoughts.  You yourself are turning back on your word.  You yourself are the cause of your downfall, if there is anyone else then let me know?  

God has clearly stated in the Gita –

“Uddharedaatmanaatmaanam naatmaanamvasaadayet

Aatmaiva hyaatmano bandhuraatmaiva ripuraatamanah” 

(Gita 6:5)

 “A man must raise himself by his own effort. He must not degrade himself; for the Self is his own friend and the Self is also his own enemy.”

With a determinate intellect, when one fixes his mind on an objective, then it is fixed, it is done!!!  If there are any doubts, deterrents, then speak up!

If you do not engaged in sinful acts, then, divine energy, a force, an unusual strength,  exceptionalness will manifest within.  It will be a great support for you. It will raise you spiritually.  And it will perfect all work both in this world and beyond.  You remain firm and determinate in your ideas and aim.  Let no weakness come in the way.  This is the absolute truth, it is based on principles.  No one will be able to destroy you.  No one has the strength to drag you down.  They absolutely cannot do so.

Remain ever firm whatever may happen.   Whether hardships arise, whether you are dishonored or whether you even die in the process, whatever it may be.  I will die, but I will not commit a sin – Be firm.  

Everything will be alright.  Naturally and innately you will receive help. On its own!  Try it and see for yourself!
