God realisation needs no Effort – Swami Ramsukhdas Ji Blog

God realization is like going back to our own home. It is very easy. All it requires is to accept once with a firm determination and a simple heart that I am God’s and only God is mine. The mistake that we make is that we have an inclination to the world and not towards God. As soon as we become God’s, our sins of millions of births are destroyed immediately. Sins do not have the power to stop us from realizing Him. Even the vilest sinner and the worst human being is eligible for God-realization.

In the path of devotion we like God, his pastimes. Our benefactors are those who inspire us towards God. Mirabai said that leave those who do not have devotion like you would leave your enemies even though they may be very loving to us. We should always remember God. Nothing is more important than remembering God. We must remember Him with a true heart.

Pray to God from the core of your heart. Prayer to Him never goes in vain. Love Him with your heart. As Lord Shiva tells Uma (his consort) there is no other well -wisher, teacher, mother, father, friend like God. If God is loving to us, it is His grace. Consider seriously – Who is ours? Only He is ours.
