From God’s side all are dear to Him, all are His very own.
‘ Sab mama priya, sab mama upajaayi’
Now only we have to accept that ‘We are God’s.’ It is a simple, straight-forward point, and it is true, it is genuine. In this, however sinful you are, however bad your conduct is, however many bad qualities you may have, however incapable you may be, do not pay attention towards those things. After all, even a bad child is the mother’s child only. This point is very unique. I have read it in books. I have heard it from saints and great men. We are all belonging to God.
There should be no testing whether you are capable or incapable to be regarded as God’s. One child is very educated, one is very capable, one many be totally ignorant, an one may be innocent, while another child may be mentally challenged, but however the child may be, the mother’s relationship is with all of her children. However you may be, now don’t think that I am not capable, I am sinful, my behavior is not proper etc., do not think about such things. Such things are essential when you desire something in the world, possibly a good position (post), when you are seeking some entitlements, when you are wanting respect and honor in the world. When you want such things then, intelligence, ability, good looks, strength, capabilities will be useful, but for God there is no need of any of these things. Only the worldly attachments (sense of mine-ness) have to be renounced. And you have to accept that – ‘I am God’s’.
Goswami Tulsidasji Maharaj says –
‘Hoyi Ram ko Naam Japo’
By becoming God’s, do japa (repeat the divine name of God).
