Goswami Tulsidasji Maharaj says –
‘Hoyi Ram ko Naam Japo’
By becoming God’s, do japa (repeat the divine name of God).
Why did Tulasidasji use the words ‘by becoming God’s,’ it is only because we do not believe, do not accept that we are already God’s. Where is the question of becoming, we are undoubtedly God’s. From the very beginning we have been God’s. This relationship with God is very intimate, very special. No where is it mentioned about your capabilities or lack of them. However we are, we are God’s. Now if you accept this, you will get a lot of power, you will get lot of strength and courage, lot of enthusiasm, that I belong to God.
Whether you are Brahmin, Kshatriya, Vaishya, Shudra, if you are lowly, all are condescending towards you, no one listens to you, but God is affectionate towards you. He loves you. God is yours. God is our very own. He does not look towards whether we are worthy or unworthy. Wherever there is a sense of mine-ness (apnapan), there one does not look towards whether one is eligible, not eligible, entitled, worthy, unworthy, how is he ? etc. there is a feeling of mine-ness (He is mine), in the same way, our relationship with God is one of sense of mine (my very own).
Sab mama priya, sab mama upajaaye.
All are born of Me and all are dear to Me.
Now however Ramji wishes to keep us, we shall remain so.
Jaahi vidhi raakhe Ram, taahi vidhi rahiye.
However you wish to keep me, you may do so. (to be continued)
